I oppose a mask requirement outdoors. I support an inside requirement. So if the requirement stands for both indoor and out then I oppose this as written till it is amended to only include inside mask requirements.
I oppose a mask requirement outdoors. Madison and Shorewood are inside only. I see most people already practicing social distancing outdoors and this seems overly burdensome.
If we had taken this seriously from the start and as a country had adopted mandatory mask policy, then we could be joining the rest of the world in beginning to reopen. The longer we wait to enforce mask wearing, the more people will die. Do the right thing.
The number of cases continues to rise and nothing will stop it unless we take measures against it. If you won't have the courage to value human lives over "the economy" and shut down non-essential businesses, then masks are the bare minimum to mitigate this disaster from further spiraling out of control.
It is imperative that you require everyone to wear a mask and put consequences in place for those who do not wear them. This is a life saving ordinance.
Strongly oppose. While there are appropriate times to wear masks, the WHO cautions against mandates requiring that healthy people wear masks in community settings. “Advice on the Use of Masks in the Context of COVID-19” from April stated that “the wide use of masks by healthy people in the community setting is not supported by current evidence and carries uncertainties and critical risks.” I do not support the government taking away this freedom of choice and I will take my business elsewhere if the mandate is passed.
I oppose. Clearly there is not true consensus on the efficacy or safety of face coverings, or this wouldn't be such a divisive issue. Without a single evidence-based reference, or specific end date, a measure like this could be a slippery slope as to what the government deems essential in regards to making decisions about our bodies. I strongly oppose.
I strongly support, it's the smart and right thing to do.

I support this life saving measure. The science is in: masks prevent spread of COVID. Save Milwaukee lives and get the job done.
Do the right thing. Save lives.
Strongly support.

I support the mask ordinance. Masks are important to limiting the spread of coronavirus and keeping local businesses open.
I support public face mask
