This is tyranny. It is not the government’s job to protect my health - it is the government’s job to protect my constitutional rights. It is MY job to protect my health. When you trade liberty for safety, you end up losing both.

I am a City of Milwaukee employee. I ask that at the very least the city require masks in all of its buildings and that they be worn by all employees, as the county has done already. Futhermore, I support a mask requirement citywide because thus far we know masks work. The countries that are successfully containing the virus and reopening are those where mask wearing has been widely used. With so little known about the virus, we need to fervently adopt what has proven effective.

It is a harmless method of reducing the spread of covid, especially considering that we currently don't have other methods of stopping the spread aside from isolation.

This is getting into dangerous territory. Next is mandatory vaccinations, then you'll be slipping in a Compulsory Sterilization clause because there are too many people. We will not comply!

Wearing a mask in no way harms the wearer, proven by science, but helps stop the spread of the virus which is transmitted into the air when coughing or sneezing. It is a temporary inconvenience to help bring the cases down and work to get back to normal everyday life. It does not infringe on anyone's rights but work to help keep our community to healthy. No shirts, no shoes, no mask, no service.

Wisconsin has the fastest Covid 19 spread in the nation. This is a matter of life and death. Mandate masks.

As a teacher in Milwaukee public schools I strongly support this measure. When/if students return to school they will be required to wear masks, I believe the city should model this behavior to help students adjust and to protect our vulnerable population.

Our community needs to stand together to protect our vulnerable citizens, listen to science, and stand together against this virus. It isn't about taking freedoms, it is about protecting people around you.

You have no right to force anything like this on the entire population. This is crossing a line that makes it easier to cross other unethical lines, like Forcing a mandatory vaccination on the people, no matter what their situation. This is disgusting that you would even entertain an idea like this. Next, you will be Forcing sterilization if this keeps up. It's a Slippery slope right to the end of our rights to life, liberty, & the pursuit of happiness. We will boycott Milwaukee as long as this madness persists.

Masks are proven to reduce the spread of this virus. If we want schools in fall to be safe to kids and teachers, if we want business to stay open, we need to do so safely.

Will hinder restaurant and bar business. Allow individual businesses to decide for themselves and their patrons, please don’t limit their ability to generate revenue.

Face coverings have been shown to slow and mitigate the coronavirus. If people want businesses to reopen and stay open wearing a face covering is a simple way to ensure it happens.

Science is never settled. Masks are harmful to our oxygen levels and immune system and should be saved for the sick and those working with the sick. This violates our rights and our health. I do ot agree with mask mandates.

Science is telling us the best tool we have to stop the spread of the virus is wearing a mask indoors or outside when near other people. Please follow the science & lead. Our cases are going up with the piecemeal approach we’re taking now. It’s time to take action & help businesses be responsible.

Let the people decide if they want to wear a mask or not. This should not be mandated.

It is not okay to push masks on everybody, nor will it be ok to force vaccinations. This is just yet another step towards completely stripping our freedoms and the line keeps getting pushed farther towards us becoming complete wards of the government. Stop the madness and just let people make their own choices for their own bodies!
