Quit with the tyranny. That's all it is. It's not about health and safety and you know it. Not all can wear masks. I will NOT comply!!

I work in a Milwaukee hospital. We are tired. We are tired of delaying care to await COVID results, we are tired of limiting family members and visitors in the hospital that help our patients heal. The longer the decision is an individual one, the longer it will take to get past this. Short term inconvenience of wearing a mask will help our economy get back up and running in full swing sooner. Wearing a mask is how you show respect to OTHERS and how you show you care for THEIR health and safety. Please respect the people of Milwaukee and require mask wearing to respect us and save lives.

I strongly oppose this Unconstitutional abhorrent ordinance. It's not the states job to protect our health & safety. It's the states job to protect our rights. The greatest threat to our Constitution is our own ignorance of what it says and this ordinance that's been introduced is evidence of that. I do not consent to giving up my right to chose what goes in and on my body for your version of security. I reject the state telling us what we need to do for our health and safety. America is founded on personal liberty and we most continue to protect that.

No masks, at all. It’s vital that we get back to a normal way of life. The long term mental effects of having masks and restrictions is far more harmful than helpful. These restrictions are wrecking the economy of Milwaukee and the lives of our families and children. The restrictions were needed at first, but now we realize the virus is NOT as harmful as we thought.

Allow businesses to decide how and if they want their patrons to wear a mask. We also must be considerate of those who cannot tolerate a mask (those with abuse or other emotional triggers, those with compromised reps status, young children etc). Choice over the mandate.

I strongly oppose a mask mandate. Businesses have the ability to create their own requirements and should do so if they feel strongly compelled. It is our officials jobs to PROTECT everyone’s freedom of choice and give them the option of consent. Don’t take away our option of informed decision making for our families. It’s proven and published (scientific American journal) that basic cloth masks inhibit your bodies ability to maintain healthy oxygen levels. It’s also UNETHICAL to make healthy people take action that will ultimately make them more sick and susceptible to the virus

This is an issue of public safety, not politics. Please listen to the scientists and doctors, and make masks required in public spaces. Wearing a mask doesn’t hurt anyone - but not wearing a mask will lead to the continued spread of this deadly virus that we still don’t know the long term effects of.

Wearing a mask is the easiest thing one can do to assist in lowering the cases and working towards things getting back to “normal”. Madison recently passed this and other states have, as well; Milwaukee, as a city, can and should do better to protect it’s residents. Those whom oppose are selfish and clearly not concerned about the wellbeing of others. Our numbers are rising and we should take some cues from countries that have successfully lowered theirs. One of the ways they were able to do this was mandating masks.

Let businesses who what to mandate put a sign on their door - just like no shoes, no shirt, no service. The want you to do it so their non mask wearing customers won’t be made and remember them as they can blame the mandate. NO MASK MANDATE, this is a personal choice, Your job is to protect our rights!

I am in support. Please pass this for our safety. This virus is real and it has taken people from us. Please value human lives. Masks are proven to prevent the spread if we all wear them!

I fully support requiring a mask that covers the nose and mouth when in indoor public places. While some feel this is a personal choice, this is a situation where their personal choice can have significant negative health impacts on those around them.

This ordinance should not apply to children or outside spaces. My young children struggle to keep a mask on properly in stores. This ordinance would force us to shop outside of the city. And children cannot be expected to wear masks while they're playing outside, especially in the heat. Families who must bring their children into stores for necessary items, and those who rely on city parks for outdoor recreation, will be disproportionately affected by this ordinance because they will be in violation of it when their young children inevitably remove their masks while shopping and playing.
