1. 200409 Resolution directing the Commissioner of the Milwaukee Health Department to establish a program under which all City residents may receive a face mask without charge upon request.
What type of masks? If disposable opposed an it negates zero waste, contamination controls. If other types, opposed as known observed general public lack of effective usages.
I fully support this as a small business owner in the City of Milwaukee. Since we are currently one of the hottest spots for viral spread in the nation, I beg of you not to hesitate any longer. Please act in support of public health, require masks in public spaces, and distribute free masks to those who need them. Don't force us small business owners to do your job for you.

I believe that it may be hard for many individuals to purchase or receive a face covering for them and there family. This is a good idea and will help those who can’t get one themselves. It is important that everyone wear masks to protect others and themselves.
When you require everyone to wear face masks, you should give 1 mask to every member of the household so no one can go say they have no money/means to get a mask
This is simple: require residents to wear face masks in public spaces and then provide the means to do so. This is in the name of saving human life—something, I believe, should be of utmost importance when making decisions about Milwaukee residents.

Masks for everyone!
I am for wearing face coverings but not for a government mandate nor for using taxpayer dollars to purchase and distribute them.
Making masks available for all should be something we can provide the citizens of Milwaukee.
Strongly opposed. If people believe they need a mask, let them buy one or simply use a scarf over their face. Stop spending our tax money on nonsense.
I support this. It is very easy to make DIY masks but I think it's important that everyone has access to masks.

Unconstitutional
Good plan. Do it!
I support masks being provided at no charge upon request
Strongly Support!
Please make this happen! The sooner the better, before we end up like FL, AZ, TX, etc.
I support this
I support this decision. Masks should be provided, especially if they are made mandatory.

The quickest way to stop covid is EVERYONE wearing a mask--please REQUIRE MASKS!!!
Not everyone can afford a mask - this is the best way to ensure that everyone who needs a mask has access to one!
