I do not support this measure as it is obviously only being considered because of the proposed mask mandate and the certain legal challenges it will bring.

Wholeheartedly support! It would be ideal if the masks were made of reusable material to prevent waste. Everyone should have access to necessary PPE.

Mask should be cloth 1 generic color, with hand washing instructions. It should be sourced with a local business.

Please provide 3 masks, to ensure residents can always have a clean and a backup should one be misplaced or damaged. Also please provide more pickup sites to make this program more accessible for bus riders, the disabled, elderly, and parents.

I do not need a face mask for free because I I oppose the mandate for face masks. If your face mask work then those that do not wear one should not hurt those that wear one if they work. It is our bodies and our right to wear or not wear one,and I will sue anyone that mandates face mask because it goes against my constitutional rights. Your immune systems were meant to fight against infections, germs and Diseases naturally so let it do what it was made to do .

Wearing a mask is detrimental to our health because it causes more diseases (see link below). Our best defense is taking care of our good health by exercising, eating well, being with our loved ones, being in the sun, breathing fresh outdoor air, spirituality, and the like to boost our immune system to fight disease. Herd immunity is critical in fighting viruses. The statistics say this virus is not more deadly than the flu so we shouldn't destroy our normal way of life and health by wearing a mask.

Everyone should have access to proper PPE during this pandemic. If we are all protected, we are all safe.

This is something that offers cost savings long term and guarantees compliance.

I fully support a program which will provide masks to people and families in need of protection against Covid 19 for free. I do hope that the city will consider offering more than three places to receive them, so folks don't have to rely on public transportation to get to them.

Fully support. Milwaukee has an opportunity to be an example for this country on how to properly address a detrimental global pandemic.

Those who say medical conditions prevent others from wearing a mask are either misinformed or being dishonest. People are in a position where they have to expose themselves to others to provide and support families, whether exposure is at work, on the way to and from work. Those saying they'll refuse to support businesses requiring basic hygiene, are you blind to how much our communities are already hurting nationwide? It seems more likely to me that people who refuse to wear masks don't have to expose themselves to others on a daily basis, it's a choice for them. SPREAD MASKS NOT COVID

Science HAS shown that masks help reduce the spread of covid-19. Having access to free supplies is essential for protecting the health of our city.

I fully support a county wide mask mandate in order to protect our community. Ultimately small owned businesses will be hit hardest if we are forced to shutdown again because we did not do enough to slow the spread of a COVID.

ABSOLUTELY OPPOSED. 1) Milwaukee County has gone nine days without a single coronavirus-related death, signaling that Milwaukee is nearing the end of the danger period for this virus. Implementing a new restriction now makes no sense at all. 2) A new mask law will create more situations of conflict between police and communities, exactly the thing we don't need more of. 3) Cloth masks do nothing to stop coronaviruses, which at 0.1 microns are too small. 4) People's misuse of the masks (such as using a dirty mask) will create more harm to user than not wearing any at all. 5) My body, my choice!

I oppose my tax dollars to be used for this. I will find elsewhere to do business. I am not against wearing a mask but very against a mandate for such. Let it remain a persons choice to go get one, people who chose not to wear one aren’t screaming for everyone to follow suit. Reserve the PPE for those in the medical field and the vulnerable population. The death rate is going DOWN for covid 19 and cases are going up because we’re testing so many. It should be celebrated that 99% of people are recovering from this illness! The majority of these masks will end up in a land fill. What a waste.

Absolutely not. Masks are unnecessary and shouldn't be paid for by the taxpayers.
