Make shouldn't have to be mandatory in public buildings and when gathering in public. There's no reason I should state my case, wearing a mask during these events is a moral obligation. It is absolutely ridiculous that we have to go this far.

But here we are. Wear the mask so this pandemic can end.

Of course I support masks be provided. Who would vote against such a thing?

I strongly oppose. This is another effort to control the public and mandate mask usage. We have never been supplied with all other “necessities” such as personal care products, and this is a waste of my tax dollars. No thank you.

Strongly oppose to this effort to mandate mask usage. It is and should remain a personal choice not a forced mandate. It is a freeedom..and that freedom should never be infringed upon for anything.

There is contradictory evidence about mask wearing. Some health officials claim wearing masks will help
contain the spread of the corona virus while others claim with equal veracity masks are ineffective, and
some officials even posit that wearing masks for prolonged periods may be harmful to health.
As such, there is no overwhelming evidence to support mandatory mask wearing. Under such
contradictory circumstances it is not sensible for elected leaders at any level to enforce a mask wearing
    mandate.

Masks DO NOT stop or slow any virus from spreading due to particle size. There is ZERO scientific evidence proving otherwise. There are however dozens of scientific RCT's proving "cloth face coverings" are useless at best and dangerous at worst. They will increase the viral load and severity of Covid for anyone who comes in contact with it. Covid 19 is being primarily spread by fecal- oral transmission NOT aersol, but no one is telling you that. WASH. YOUR. HANDS.

Silly. If people want a mask, have them available to them. Others either have them or don't want them. What a waste of taxpayer funds

I oppose this until the taxpayers are presented with the tax implications. It stands the chance of being wasteful to taxpayer money and lucrative to the contract vendor. Things like cost per mask and conflicts of interest within the council need to be known.

Unless a mask is worn properly, made of the proper material, and adheres like a suction cup to your face, it provides little to no protection against a microbial virus like COVID. This is a waste of time in consideration and tax payer money in implementation.

I oppose. This is a waste of taxpayer money. If people want to wear masks, they should provide their own. The government doesn't supply toilet paper or other hygiene products - why should they provide masks?

Providing masks to people who request them and may not be bale to afford them is the right thing to do. Let's take care of one another.

We should be passing/supporting any measures that will help reduce barriers to people following public health guidelines. Not only should masks be provided but they should be easily accessible to those who may not have transportation.

City of Milwaukee should provide free masks to anyone that financially cannot afford to do so to ensure everyone is safe.

Yes, we must show leadership in providing the means to help people comply with this important order.
