Making masks accessible is crucial to implementing a mandate.

Please vote no for this proposal. To wear a mask is a personal choice. The government should not be providing masks at taxpayer expense.

Absolutely not. We barely have money for the truly important things in our city as it is. I can't even believe the stupidity of this one. Btw... on a one hour walk the other day I counted SEVEN discarded disposable masks laying around on the ground as litter. They are disgusting and people are just tossing them everywhere now. No mask mandate and no free masks.

COVID is the least of our worries at this point. We need to focus on opening up our economy before more lives are damaged. Requiring masks is a big step in the wrong direction, considering that the death rate is at its lowest and our hospitals have plenty of capacity.

Everyone needs to have the necessary resources and should have the option to request one.

I've seen businesses offer masks upon entering if customers don't have one. If masks are offered for free and easily accessible, it makes the implementation of a mandate much more feasible.

This is a good idea and is not that difficult to do. Let's do it MKE.

Mandate masks & then provide the means necessary.

I think it's only fair that if the city is going to make masks in public mandatory then it should provide free resources for people who need it. And even if the mask ordinance does not pass free masks should still be available to those who want to protect themselves and others.

Masks are a simple and effective tool to hinder the spread of the virus. This policy would also help our more marginalized community members who cannot afford to get masks help spread the virus and not be a target for enforcement of a mask policy. Our city is capable of providing masks to its citizens and it will in the long run help us economically recover from the pandemic.

This shouldn't be a question. This is an easy and cost-effective way to protect Milwaukee citizens from spreading COVID. If everyone is provided a mask, there is no excuse as to why someone isn't wearing theirs.

Masks are incredibly necessary to help stop the spread. Everyone should be given easy access to a mask to help.
