Lewandowski has benefitted from serving at DNS for 20 years without demonstrating a commitment to communities of color as demonstrated by lack of evidence on her resume to that effect. Further, DNS is in need of new leadership in lieu of someone from the "good ole boys/girl club" who will enact transformational change in lieu of transactional changes that continue to adversely effect communities of color. Sadly Newandowski's strategies for promoting racial equity failed to include SMART goals needed for accountability and measures of effectiveness. It's time for new leadership and direction.
